    The telecommunications sector involves, therefore, more and more automated operations and the infrastructure that composes it (transmission equipment, towers, antennas, among others) requires a remarkably high energy consumption, which makes this market have very demanding needs.

    In this way, it was possible to understand which are the most valued characteristics and which best serve the activities of this sector, designing and equipping Grupel generators for telecommunications in order to meet the requirements of the market:

    • are suitable for continuous operation for several years;
    • are equipped with tanks of great autonomy;
    • have front or side opening, to facilitate the maintenance of the equipment, and grids for air inlet and outlet;
    • have integrated ATS, as an optimized solution;
    • have pre-filters to guarantee the quality of the fuel;
    • as an extra, they can incorporate a remote supervision and communication kit via GSM and Ethernet that also makes it possible to locate the generator via GPS;
    • can include an anti-theft system for installations in more remote locations;
    • have a tropicalized radiator, suitable for climates where there is a wide temperature range.
    Among Grupel's most recent telecommunication support projects, there are several groups that guarantee the power supply of towers and telecommunication infrastructures that provide several services to millions of people, all over the world.
