Grupel should be proud of its 2019!
The company reinforced its leadership in the generator market, in Portugal; expanded its presence around the world; increased its efficiency, enhancing its productive capacity; and won the Five Star Prize for the third consecutive year.
Thanks to its unique know-how, the result of 44 years of experience in the energy and generators sector, Grupel was the leader of this market in Portugal, in 2019, having registered a 38% growth compared to 2018.
The feat is understandable if, to this know-how, we add other of the company’s differentiating factors, such as its wide range of products (from 3kVA to 3,500kVA), the ability to present custom-made solutions tailored to the needs of each client (either standard or special projects) and its multifaceted and diverse team, which has 140 employees born in 14 different countries and of 4 different generations.
In 2020, Grupel expects to harness the enormous potential of its team, its products and services and thus strengthen their quality and further increase sales and brand awareness.
Through a strong expansion strategy, Grupel has lengthened its international presence to 64 countries and regained access to other major markets. In these countries (spread across all continents), the brand has a specialized and local distributor network through which it markets its products and provides customer support services.
In addition to enlarging its internationalization, Grupel also increased its number of customers to 743 (100 more than in 2018), a figure that it intends to continue to grow in the coming years by attracting more partners and distributors, as well as conquering new markets.
The satisfaction of the consumers is something that makes Grupel deeply happy and grateful. To be distinguished, for the 3rd consecutive year, with the Five Stars Award (2020), in the Generators category, is a sign of confidence in the brand and recognition of the company as a reference in the sector.
From this year's edition, it should be noted that 'purchase intention / recommendation' was the highest-rated feature in Grupel's assessment, and ‘confidence in the brand’ and ‘innovation’ were the ones that grew the most in relation to previous editions. In addition, about 70% of respondents consider Grupel an attractive company to work for, and the brand has an overall satisfaction level of 72.2% within the Portuguese market.
This recognition makes Grupel’s Energy stronger and more present among national and international consumers, reinforcing responsibility and rigor in its work.
All these achievements have only been possible thanks to the efforts of all who have worked and continue to work daily to boost the brand and take our products and services further. In 2020, we will continue to focus on innovating, growing and creating the best energy.
