Grupel deliveries 2,7 MW to Kenya

Grupel has achieved another goal and completed another important project that we can add to our portfolio and greatest projects, the Big Project Grupel Kenya.

With Grupel and our engineering department experience on Big Projects, this was a simple project thanks to the products of high quality and that are fully operational in every environment.

Grupel was already present in Kenya through the distributor Power Management Services Ltd. (PMS), an important partnership that leads to this recent conquest and that gives Grupel’s brand visibility in this country, and around the world.

This recent conquest in Kenya is a project from a new client, one of the biggest companies in Kenya and in the food industry. This company was planning to open a new unit of seed mills and to fulfill its needs had to have a power supply, and that’s where Grupel jumps in and starts to study the project with the people responsible for this plan, that belong to the company, so that the gensets would meet the needs of the load demand.  The load demands mainly in the start of the Seed mills, even with the usual soft starters of the load.

In this project, it was necessary a Heavy Range, because this company needed a continuous and a load demand of 2.7MW and Grupel to meet this demand, delivered a set of two Generators of 1350 kVA Standby Power to make the Operation.

For this project, Grupel used Heavy Range Generators with Perkins Engine, Model 4012-46TWG2A, and a Leroy Somer Alternator, Model LSA 50.2 M6, with a Deepsea 8610 Controller for the parallel System.

In the future, we hope to conquer new projects and new clients, keep this good and strong partnership with our distributor so that we work together as a team and continue with this growth strategy, especially in East Africa.
