PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consisted in the supply of 36 generator sets to generate power in several isolated sites in Ecuador in parallel operation mode with continuous load sharing.

Grupel provided a new solution in plug & play form designed for power generation plants. This solution is characterized by its mobility and included 36 generators to supply power to oil extraction pumps in several locations in the Amazon in Ecuador.

By making the system mobile, permanent damage to the fragile ecosystem that characterizes the Amazon is avoided.

The generators were installed in a short period of time (2 days) and the concept applied (plug & play) allowed the teams involved in the project (Petroecuador and Petroamazonas companies) to easily transport the generator sets overland and quickly install them at the locations of use.
