PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Grupel has supplied a 1000kVA diesel generator set to support a boiler room located in Lithuania, ensuring its operation 24 hours a day.
The genset has a Baudouin engine and a Nidec-Leroy Somer alternator.
It has been designed to operate efficiently in harsh outdoor conditions, withstanding extreme temperatures from -35°C to +35°C. With a robust canopy and suitable pre-heating equipment, it is a reliable choice for this location.
Designed to supply electricity in the event of a grid failure, this system has an automatic fuel transfer mechanism, which transfers fuel from the external tank to the generator’s daily tank.
Other features include:
- Built-in 1000L fuel tank, as well as an extra 4000L tank to allow for more operating hours in an emergency
- Fuel level indicators to monitor the fuel tanks
- Emergency stop button for immediate stoppage in the event of a hazardous or abnormal situation
- Oil pressure and coolant temperature indicators, ensuring that the generator operates within safe limits
- Retention tray for fluids
- Prepared to work remotely with the SCADA system, allowing monitoring via the RS485 port, according to the Modbus RTU protocol. This feature allows for real-time monitoring, identifying and correcting problems quickly, as having a more comprehensive view will allow you to make more informed and strategic decisions, increasing operational efficiency.
These days, an uninterrupted power supply is crucial to prevent malfunctions in many facilities. In critical areas, such as boiler rooms, having a high-quality power generator is crucial.
