PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Grupel has recently supplied a project supporting a WWTP in Lucens, Switzerland, and aiming to ensure power to the entire facility, in case of grid failure.
The project consists of a 275kVA Grupel+Grupel generator set, for standby operation, and includes temperature, oil and fuel sensors, as well as a pre-heating resistor and lifting eyebolt, to facilitate transportation.
More details
The installation was carried out by one of our partners in Switzerland, BD Consult, that left their testimonial:
"For all our projects, we choose Grupel generators because they are quality products, reliable and of European manufacture. We want the best for our clients.
The Lucens WWTP is an important wastewater treatment infrastructure, responsible for the recovery of water and its redistribution in the region, contributing to the circular economy. It is important to guarantee an efficient energy backup, in the event of a failure, so that it can run smoothly. And for that we rely on Grupel's generators."
Supporting wastewater treatment infrastructure becomes pressing, as the supply and distribution of quality water is necessary in a world where water consumption has doubled in the last 20 years.
Generators play an important role in providing power and support to these types of facilities, as many of them depend on a complementary source of energy to meet their consumption and maintain safe operation.
Over the years, Grupel has developed a number of projects dedicated to this sector, supporting the distribution of quality water to people around the world.
