PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Grupel produced and installed two Grupel generator sets to support a WWTP in the village of Balombo, Benguela province. Grupel was selected, through the installer Ambiágua, to supply the generators that will serve the power needs in this WWTP.

The project consisted of the application of two groups of diesel generators to operate in emergency mode with the powers of 330kVA and 665kVA, with the following characteristics:

The 330kVA generator was equipped with:

  • Doosan engine model P126TI-2
  • Stamford HCI444D alternator
  • Soundproof canopy model Grupel 3800II

 

The 665kVA generator was equipped with:

  • Doosan DP180LFB engine
  • Stamford alternator model HCI544E
  • Soundproof canopy model Grupel 4500II

 

To ensure the availability of the equipment for a proper functioning of the infrastructure concerned, the 330kVA generator was equipped with a 550-liter fuel tank and the 665kVA generator was equipped with a 700-liter fuel tank.
