PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Grupel supplied about 6 MVA (PRP) of pure power to assist a desalination plant.
The solution was composed of 5×1250 kVA generators synchronized with each other if with a large capacity fuel tank (10,000 liters), with fuel and transfer pump.
This plant, which collects seawater and makes it potable, serves the Spanish city of Melilla in northeast Africa where potable water is a natural resource with very limited access.
