Africa Energy Forum 2022 in review

Back to Grupel, our sales team puts Africa Energy Forum 2022 up for review and reveals some aspects about its experience in the event, talking about the goals achieved and the expectations for the future of our brand in the African markets.

With many years of experience in Africa, Grupel seeks to strengthen its commercial strategy, keeping close to its customers and the entities that act in the development of these countries. Therefore, from 21st to June 24th, our team was at this important event, which gathered public entities and important players of the energy sector, in Brussels.

Over the four days, we had the opportunity to present our energy solutions, showing how we can support the growth of these markets and the development of their businesses and activities.

Pedro Gonçalves, Sales and Marketing Director, was part of the participating committee and tells us about his experience:

“Historically, Grupel has had very close relations with the African continent, having had the privilege of collaborating strictly with several ‘players’, in different projects.

Being in an event such as the Africa Energy Forum is very important in the pursuit of Grupel’s strategy, bringing us even closer to opinion leaders and players who actively participate in the management of energy projects on this continent.

We had the opportunity to strengthen ties, learn about opportunities, exchange experiences, and understand clear trends.

Power generators have a great relevance in Africa, since they are important support systems to the regular power grid, which is deficient and somewhat insufficient in some areas. It was gratifying to realize the role that Grupel assumes in these markets, having the client’s trust in building solutions.

For Grupel, it is very important to maintain its positioning as a leading supplier of energy solutions, for applications and contexts as diverse as power plants, WWTPs, mines, oil and gas exploration fields, and construction. Africa proves to be a strategic market in these sectors and, consequently, for Grupel as a supplier.
