Grupel is expected to attend two important events in Africa in the coming weeks, namely the Africa Energy Forum 2023 (Kenya, June 20th to 23rd) and FILDA (Angola, July 18th to 22nd), keeping up with our culture of proximity to customers and markets.
Grupel has been working in Africa for more than 20 years, providing solutions for telecommunication networks, mining sites, infrastructures, among others, and we are hoping to show our most recent projects and plans of innovation, to meet with important players and industry leaders, and to expand our contact list of business partners in this region.
From June 20th to the 23rd, Grupel’s team will fly over to Nairobi, Kenya, where Africa Energy Forum will take place. The event will bring together ministers, governmental institutions, energy consultants and other industry leaders, and is set to be a great place to expand Grupel’s business network.
Historically, our company has had a great experience in Africa and very close relations with several ‘players’ in the continent. Being in an event such as the Africa Energy Forum is very important in the pursuit of our strategy, bringing Grupel even closer to opinion leaders and players who actively participate in the management of energy projects on this continent.
A month later, from July 18th to the 22nd, the team will head to Luanda, Angola, to participate in FILDA 2023. The country’s greatest international event will gather companies and businesses of many sectors, from construction to mining, oil and gas and other demanding activities.

Africa proves to be a strategic market in these sectors and, consequently, for Grupel as a supplier.

Africa’s industrialization is rising and the demand for energy is set to grow exponentially in the continent, while some countries still experience outages and loadshedding, that cost around 2% of their GDP. Gensets play a fundamental role, as they guarantee a stable supply to numerous applications, from power plants, WWTPs, infrastructure complexes, mining sites, oil & gas units, or renewable systems.
