PROJECT DESCRIPTION
From agriculture to healthcare and businesses, Grupel’s Energy serves a multitude of applications. Recently, we supplied a genset to support a business center in La Valletta (Malta).
The 500kVA equipment has an Iveco engine and Leroy Somer alternator, and will operate on an emergency basis to support Centris Business Gateway, a building for companies, by coming into action when the regular power grid fails.

This business center has 8 floors, 5 of which are totally rented to Maltese companies and other international ones. A power failure, however brief, can cause huge losses to these companies and businesses, which depend more and more on electric power for the normal functioning of their activities and processes.
For this reason, it is fundamental that, in spaces like these, a backup system is in place to safeguard a continuous supply even in the event of a power grid failure.
Generators for emergency operation are ideal solutions for this type of application because they are specially produced and programmed to be activated in situations of electrical failure, taking the load of the installation and becoming its main source of power.
