PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Meze by Elliniko, a restaurant, in Panama City, counts on the assistance of a Grupel generator, which was supplied by our brand through our distributor in the country.

The 165kVA project has a Perkins engine and a Grupel alternator and is meant to operate in standby mode, starting up in case of failure of the regular power grid, which in Panama can reach a duration of up to 10 hours.

More details

The Grupel power generator thus serves as back-up energy to this restaurant of Greek gastronomy, which has two floors with two distinct rooms and two terraces (one in open air and one covered), providing various types of environment and hosting experiences as distinct as business meetings or the gatherings of friends.

The hotels and restaurants sector has growing energy consumption and needs, since a malfunction or an unstable supply can cause financial damages to this type of business and even put the safety of visitors at risk. In the case of restaurants, it can cause refrigerated or frozen food to go to waste.

For this reason, in these contexts, it is usual to resort to the use of standby generator sets that ensure the continuity of power production when the grid fails and thus guarantee the normal operation of spaces such as the restaurant Meze by Elliniko, in the capital of Panama.
